Not only do we have the opportunity to enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace and the surrounding stone, we also can view the hidden television. Behind the center doors above the fireplace a television is kept. A slight touch of the door on its touch latch mechanism allows for you to open up the space and enjoy the evening news or a movie of your choice. A satellite eye gives you the opportunity to run a remotely located DVD player. The combination of the Hickory wood and the Walnut wood gives further dimension to the mantel and space. This overall fireplace surround is enjoyed by the adjacent kitchen, great room and dining room which are also using the wonderful hickory cabinets and walnut accents. Text Box: This Hearth Room fireplace adds warmth to this sitting area off of the kitchen. The use of natural stone and simplistic mantel allow for this fireplace to melt within the space and create a welcoming feeling. Text Box: “Yes it is a two sided fireplace”.
