Text Box: Come in and stay a while. This inviting waiting room gives you a feeling of home. Comfortable seating, warm colors, enhanced by the fireplace and beverage center, make your time waiting very enjoyable. Text Box: The receptionist area is a wonderful greeting space for the patient and the staff. You are able to privately check in at one side and pay your bill at the other without infringing on another patients space. Tucked away behind this space you will see cabinetry that is closed and can be locked, housing patient’s records. This is in compliance with the HIPAA Law for patient privacy. Text Box: As the adults enjoy reading a magazine or conversing in the main waiting room, the children and their parents enjoy their own waiting space. Adjacent to the main room and visible from the receptionist desk, kids are able to view a wall mounted television, read books of interest to them and play at the game table set up for their needs. The receptionist also has the ability to put in a movie of the child’s choice and run it from a remote DVD player located with in the receptionist’s area. Artwork within this space is kid oriented and inclusive of the “No Cavity Club” portraits that show pictures of children that have passed their check ups without cavities. Text Box: The “Good Bye Mirror” located in the hallway on your way out of the clinic allows the patient an opportunity to check themselves on their way out of the clinic. It is always nice to feel good before you leave. Text Box: This is the thinking room of the clinic. Molds are made here, along with many other dental functions taking place. This is a common work space for the staff to share. Smoke glass on the upper cabinets allows for ease in entering the correct cabinetry when needing supplies. Text Box: The consult room is used by staff members and patients. It allows for private consultation to review dental procedure plans and financial arrangements. The computer in this space is designed to show pictures of the procedure that will be going to take place and the process that will be involved to do so. Text Box: Staff Lounge Kitchenette is where the staff will prepare their lunch during the working day. This room is also accompanied by soft seating for enjoyment during their break time. Text Box: Staff reception area and conference room is an area enjoyed at break time and every week by the staff for their staff meeting. A storage closet for coats and jackets during cool weather accompanied by individually locked locker storage on the side gives the staff a space of their own within the common space.
